Selecting the batteries

- The number of cells is based on the approximate ratio of 1 Li-Ion for 3 Ni-Cd. For a 12 volt battery, you will need to replace 10 old batteries with 3 new ones. The voltage level will be slightly reduced, but if you install 4 cells, the higher voltage will shorten the life of the electric motor.
