Metabo WEV 10-125 Quick (600388000)
Comment: I have been using it for 6 years. I’m fine with everything.

Cons: Not very comfortable in the grip, but if you get used to everything is fine. I wish I had a case.
Comment: I’ve been using it for about 7 years. Recently, the winding melted. But there was no time to wait for the repairs on this Bulgarian. The same day in Leroy bought the same. I hope it will last another 7 years)))
Pros: Speed regulation, soft start, quick-release flange, spindle lock, quick-release guard.
Cons: I wish it would be lighter. In my opinion uncomfortable power button.
Комментарии и мнения владельцев: I’ve been using it for half a year, sawing metal pipes, tiles, porcelain tiles and concrete. It is very good everywhere.

Quality tool. Convenient “keyless” disc changer. Long, flexible cord (4m). Vibration-reducing handle.
-Slimmer and less rubberized cord than the 15-125.
Review: I bought the second one in addition to the 15-125. It is convenient to have two angle grinders at hand. I have one disk for cutting and the other one for removing. stripping. Saves a lot of time.
Review: Good machine. The nut is in my opinion pampering, not much use. Otherwise satisfied.
Has a speed mode. Temperature sensor.
Adjustable RPM, soft start, quick clamping of blade without a key, easy to grip handle, no tools required to change the position of the blade guard, easy to use on/off button./ off., Long flexible quality wire.
-: The RPM dial is in a strange place. You have to pay for everything.
Review: I bought it to be able to cut with an angle grinder on wood along with the universal disk. Suitably justified. I understand the difference between the “professional” models and amateur ones. Quality wire. They always put a plastic short wire on amateur equipment to minimize the convenience of using the equipment as much as possible. You want it to be comfortable? pay twice as much!
Review: It is a very good machine, do not regret it. Replaced the Zubr 950. Metabo is fantastic. All the gadgets are there. Super.
exploitation has just begun. it is too early to speak about the quality. But on the outside it looks decent. Soft button action with no jams. easy adjustment of the protective cover. long cord 4m.
Well made, accidental start protection, clamping nut
-I think the main drawback is when working with metal. Inside the case the metal dust adheres to the button and melts it, if not corrected in time the button and the regulator burns. The problem is in the design of ventilation of the case, when working air flows around the button but all the dust is safely flown in there in this. blowing with a compressor, without disassembly useless.
Review: I have four of them to work. The shortcomings are described in the shortcomings and on the whole everybody is satisfied. If you work a lot with metal I recommend. To take it apart and treat the contacts of the button with insulating varnish then it will serve for a very long time.
I love it!” Made in Germany Speed regulation. The device has a three-meter 60 cm (measured with a tape measure) Turning of the protective Casing without a key Change disks without a key (system M-QUICK) The lamp on overheating A three year warranty (after registration on the Of. site) And just the general view. at 10 out of 10 )))
-: Except for the price. Although, in other stores for it ask from seven and a half and above (about the version with a plastic case. I bought it yesterday for 6.135 and keep my mouth shut.). And it seems that many people complain about the regulating ring, that it fails quickly, but it is supposedly just as quick to fix. Ah yes, you can also count for minus. is the usual Handle (see “The Handle” on page 54). photo) it’s not anti-vibration. For that amount of money, they could have put “normal” instead of this piece of plastic.
Review: Bought it yesterday for 6.135. I love the feel of this grinder and the quality of its material. that you can get for that kind of money. I do not know how it behaves, I have not worked with it yet. But, in the hand is great and like not heavy. In general, time will tell.
Unbreakable gearbox and bearings, protection against restart, mquick button nut. The best thing about angle grinder. Safety clutch, only tripped once, but that was enough.
Review: Has been in use for 4 years, grinding black steel and stainless steel with petal circles, rough skinning, weld dressing. The work is heavy, the tool works at full power. Often in polishing mode at low speeds, and there is rather poor cooling. Took apart 3 times for diagnostics, but nothing but a little dust blowing was necessary. No gear selection at all, no backlash. I recently paired this same model with a 1700 watt angle grinder. Recently paired the same model, but 1700 watt. Size difference in the photo.
High quality build. Dust protection: armored anchor. No “gills”. No electrocution from the brushes during “wet operation”. Self clamping nut, long cord, accidental start protection, “speed” selection, ergonomic location of the trigger, quick release cover.
-: A weak point was detected: the speed selector wheel. The wheel is attached to the potentiometer by a thin plastic foot located in the center of the part. If the foot is broken, the wheel is turned and the potentiometer is blocked. Be careful not to turn roughly and certainly not to drop the tool.
Review: Worthy Prof. apparatus. I recommend this tool for purchase.
Easy to use with one hand. Self-clamping nut. Top notch. There is no need to look for the everlastingly lost clamping wrench. And if it is tethered to a wire, it always catches on something when you work. The possibility to change and select the pulley rotation speed when grinding wooden surfaces avoids surface blackening (scorching). The location and appearance of this knob is nicely chosen. A wheel, not a switch.
Review: In short, a very good model. It corresponds to Metabo brand, which technique is always of very high quality and at the moment surpasses such brand names as Bosch, Makita, Hammer, etc.
Rotor:. Completely filled with resin, so it does not get clogged with dust and does not burn. Ripped lime off the walls in the room, then took apart the angle grinder. All caulked up inside, just a couple of blows of air and it’s good as new. 2. Smooth start and speed control (no bump when turning on). 3. Very handy housing: small diameter and cooling holes at the end (can not block with your hand). 4. Long rubber cord (does not freeze). 5. Keyless nut: handy and hasn’t fallen apart yet. 6. Turning the hood without tools.
-: 1. Half a teaspoon of grease in the gearbox. I did not expect this from Metabo. 2. The rear gearbox bearing. BAD, very fine needle (6109 HK0609 INA); finicky. Only liquid grease can properly get to it, and any grease is squeezed out and it runs dry, and heats, heats, heats. Have to be periodically disassembled and filled with grease!
Review: All good! But the bearing in general “killed”. In a cheap makita and there are ball 615 like the 696th, and here is the rubbish. I Makita (9555HN) never disassembled for three years, the gearbox is barely warm, and this alerted the second day. I will not forgive Metabo for this foolishness!
There is an overheat indicator, reliable, compact and powerful machine. It is possible to change the speed.
-: Did not identify. Maybe the jam nut will let me down, but so far so good
Review: I did more with this machine in an hour without turning it off, only when the overheat indicator lit up, than I did with other grinders in a day
-: The lauded quick-clamp nut fell apart. Works so far and without those parts that fell off.
Feedback: I still have a bad feeling. What will happen to it next? Can we buy anything that is not defective at all? Or in our country only goods that have not passed quality control deliver.

Quality tool. Convenient keyless drive change system. A long flexible cord (4m). Vibration-absorbing handle.
-Power cord is thinner and less rubbery than 15-125.

Has overheat indicator, reliable, compact and powerful unit. Can change the rotational speed.
-: Did not detect. Maybe the jam nut will let me down, but so far so good
Review: I made more grinders in an hour without turning them off, only when the overheat indicator lit up, than other grinders did in a day
-: The famous quick-clamp nut fell apart. Works for now and without parts that fell off.

Metabo angle grinder Weva 15-150 Quick: disassembly, cleaning and lubrication
Everyone knows that the disc diameter of the angle grinder should be 125 mm or 115 in emergencies. If you have the task and force can certainly use an angle grinder with 230mm disc, but they are really heavy and clumsy. But there are also disks for 150 and 180mm, and sometimes, strange as it may seem, it’s more convenient to use them. So, I needed to cut small size concrete curbs (not kerbstones) and I decided to buy the 150mm tool. It was five years ago, I worked with it a little bit, but it’s time to disassemble, clean and lubricate. The fact that this angle grinder, like my small Bosch, tends to leak oil through the button.
That is where they grease and abundantly.
Take a Torx 25 (!) and remove four screws. Be careful not to let the hood locking lever fly away, it’s on one of those screws.
Open the gearbox, there’s a rubber o-ring, it’s finally firmly seated, you need to press it away from the housing with a spatula or screwdriver. But be careful, there’s a white gasket between the parts, it’s made of something that looks like fluoroplastic. We see some clean grease and dry gears. Of course during work the grease starts to leak from heating, but when you start it runs dry.
The axle bearing is roller, no bronze. I will not disassemble the outer part.
Unscrew the screw at the back of the speed controller and remove the plastic plug.
Then carefully remove the black cup that covers the electronics. we see a little dust, of course it is only at the first glance, when you blast the air the whole cloud comes out.
We unscrew the wire and the wire itself from the terminals, it is very long and heavy, really disturbs the work.
As usually with this kind of construction, we take the spring that presses the brushes aside and pull the brushes a little bit toward us, 3-4 mm is enough to take out the rotor.
The rotor is primed, surprisingly clean at all.
The stator windings are completely protected from dust and flying particles.
Lubrication and reassembly
Something was blown with air, something washed out with ultrasound. No wear and tear at all, all bearings are normal, you can assemble.
First of all we put the rotor back, it is as easy as if it was there.
Do not forget to return the brush springs, otherwise a tragedy is possible.
Lubricate the reducer, I did not put a lot to not leak, the grease chose more viscous, probably will not press through the button.
Watching the shroud stop, screw on the outer part of the gearbox, the wide ring just under the threads is the auto-balancer discs. The balls roll over there judging by the sound, so everything is normal.
The tool is good, auto-balancer together with the anti-vibration handle almost completely eliminates vibration in the hands. From the minus only a common disease of grinders. the leak from under the button. I did not expect such a setup from an expensive angle grinder, but it is what it is. That said, my MILWAUKEE AGV 17-125 XE does not leak, only Bosch and Metabo.
Review of Metabo angle grinder WEV 10-125 QUICK
What are you presenting here? If you don’t even know the name of the parts.
And how many revolutions it spins? please measure. And what hand grip? the small 180mm or the thick 190mm with a rope around it.
I got the Lepse, it shuts off immediately if the disc jams. Why so press the angle grinder during operation that the disk stops? With this approach, even the top tool does not work longer than the cheapest Chinese.
W 10 guick 125. than 10 years working bought in 2010. They already had these nuts and anti. The original brushes lasted eight years. Today I went to buy a grinder
And the disc can jam on it?It’s possible, in principle? You have to put a gasket between the disc and the nut, that’s what I’m saying.I had an old angle grinder not so long ago, and the disk jammed.
What a disgusting face
Bought one three days ago. Now I do not understand how I worked with Interskool before. angle grinder just the bomb!
I bought a shitty clutch too. The new one didn’t work !
I took it for 10000, but I’m with the case who wants to take the case better not take the case is not very and what happened to the angle grinder after a year, you can look at me on the channel.
Don’t go to the scrap yard, make the cover out of metal
It almost popped twice. I have a Makita and it does not give a shit about everything. I don’t know what to do with it so it sticks
So-so review. Yes, and what is this review out of the box. You need to work for a year and then tell me about it.
Only nitwits who have not worked with 230 mm argue that the dust and sparks should be directed towards yourself.Fucking masochists. The scaffolding did not work in greenhouse conditions.
Thema Never mind
I already have 3 w 9 and we 10 working in the blacksmith for 10 years just change the brushes (tip. only original should be used otherwise the collector will be a pain in the ass) mostly stand on the stripper. angle grinder is the bomb and does not heat up works for hours clutch is very helpful.
Metabo WEV 15-125 Quick angle grinder review
A brief review of the Metabo angle grinder WEV 15-125 Quick will allow you to get acquainted with the capabilities of this tool, as well as the quality of parts that make up its complete set. Not so long ago, we looked at one of the many ways to disassemble the angle grinder with their own hands. Dismantle the angle grinder and quickly put it back together again is necessary in order to repair the tool in case of failure in the work or to conduct preventive maintenance work (gearbox lubrication, replacement of carbon brushes, cleaning parts from accumulated dust and dirt, etc.).
Today, in this article we will discuss with you a new model of a small-sized angle grinder German brand Metabo, namely WEV 15-125 Quick. The cost of such an angle grinder varies from 180-220 euros in specialized stores. angle grinder is equipped with many useful and necessary in the work of options, has a fairly strong motor for such a disc diameter.1550W, which is quite enough to perform various types of work on wood, stone, concrete, metal and other materials.
For many of you, this article will be helpful, because the brand is very well-known and popular among working people. The article will also help you decide on an angle grinder if you’re on the lookout for a good and quality professional grade angle grinder. To save time when replacing the cutting disc the Metabo angle grinder WEV 15-125 Quick has a Quick-clamping nut that does not require a conventional two-pin wrench.
Figure-1. Quick clamping nut and lever for the cover plate
The Quick clamping nut secures the cutting disc securely in the supporting flange and, what’s important, can be quickly and easily unscrewed by hand in the opposite direction when replacing the cutting or grinding disc. large and easy-to-use spindle locking button, allows you to unscrew the Quick clamping nut and change cutting or grinding wheels quickly and easily.
The angle grinder cover is quick and easy to fit in the right position, just press the locking lever on the gear housing. The protective cover on the angle grinder, as you have guessed, allows you to fit a cutting or grinding disc with a maximum diameter of 125 mm on the spindle.
I also mounted and used 115 mm diameter diamond and grinding discs on this angle grinder. The tool can work steadily at different spindle speeds. Thumbwheel for adjustment of cutting or grinding wheel speed.
The thumbwheel is equipped with an integrated electronic speed indicator and allows the machine to be operated at different spindle speeds, e.g. 3000 to 11000 rpm. This feature is very useful, because different spindle speeds are required for the different types of work. To prevent tool breakage or personal injury if spindle stops suddenly (blade jams in material) the tool is equipped with an overload release clutch.
Figure 2. Release clutch device
Device-uncoupling clutch.Consists of two discs tightly pressed against each other, to prevent the rapid stopping of the rotor shaft rotation and the stress caused by it. Equipped with the optional anti-vibration grip for a comfortable grip while you work.
It is also possible to fix the anti-vibration handle in several positions on the gearbox housing. This feature turns an already great tool into a more reliable and versatile device. The tool is also equipped with a reconnection lock out in case of a sudden power outage.
In other words, if you have a sudden power outage while working with the tool, the tool does not start working by itself when power comes back on until you switch it on again. This innovation is also extremely useful, as it eliminates injury to the operator in case of spontaneous and sudden activation of the tool.
Figure-3. The motor is coated with a dust protection compound
The electric motor provides increased wear resistance and correspondingly increased tool life because the rotor and stator are coated with dust-proof compositions.Carbon brushes ensure that the tool shuts down by itself when maximum permissible wear is reached (for safe operation of the electric motor).
Figure 4. Basic configuration of Metabo angle grinder WEV 15-125 Quick
Based on the above, let’s summarize, and so, let’s start with the advantages of this tool.
The main advantages of the Metabo WEV 15-125 Quick angle grinder :
◊ Sufficient number of useful features, such as anti-vibration handle, restart protection, increased motor wear resistance, self-shutoff carbon brushes, sliding clutch, spindle rotation control, decent motor protection against dust and dirt.
◊ Relatively strong motor, powerful 1550W; relatively light weight-2,4 kg.
◊ Quick saw blade change, quick locking of the blade guard in position.

Metabo WEV 10-125 Quick angle grinder with the new powerful Metabo Marathon motor. The main feature of this model is its narrow body, which allows you to work in the most hard-to-reach places. Additional handle included for comfortable grip. Weight of the tool is 2.1 kg.
On the world and Russian market of power tools now, there are several brands that produce similar products in the same price range: German companies AEG and Bosch, the American company DeWALT. It is represented by the following models: grinding machine Bosch GWS 1000, angle grinder DeWALT DWE492 and AEG WS13-125XE.
I liked this angle grinder because it is very light and comfortable in the hand. The body is made in such a way that the girth of my hand is enough to hold it and the muscles are not clogged. Because of this, I can use it for quite a long time without much difficulty. I use it mainly for cleaning pipes from rust. I have nothing bad to say about it, the tool suits me fine. It can do the job perfectly with its intended purpose.
I bought this grinder on sale for 6500. Been using it for more than two years. It is a great tool for the money. Tried some more expensive analogues, did not notice much difference. It cleans and cuts as it should, but only with a good disc or brush. Revolutions are enough to handle thick metal and old rust. I recommend it!
I have been using this grinder for 3 years. I use it to clean metal on cars. Turnable and very handy. I think it is quieter than other models. I don’t use headphones and my ears don’t hurt. It feels good in my hands, and the cable is pretty long. In terms of build quality, too, no complaints
