How to prepare the right fuel mixture for grass trimmer?
Let’s tell you how to dilute gasoline and oil for grass trimmer. Beforehand, you should deal with organizational issues:

Depending on the engine device, trimmers are divided into two-stroke and four-stroke. In the first case, the piston in the internal combustion engine makes 2 strokes per working cycle, and in the second case. 4 strokes. Filling up brushcutters with two-stroke engine
In normal household models of brushcutter is used, as a rule, a two-stroke engine. The lawnmower does not need a lot of power and speed, so it is quite suitable for the task at hand. It is also a much cheaper and simpler engine, but it is fueled with a fuel mixture of oil and gasoline. This fuel is fed to the carburetor and then to the cylinder as an oil and gasoline mist. However, the combustion of this mixture is accompanied by a caustic smell and smoke, which increases the toxicity of the exhaust gases.
Important! You should use special oil for two-stroke engines for these brushcutters, which is designed to burn completely without leaving any carbon residue and has low evaporation properties. The engine is more economical because it mixes well with petrol. and that’s because it contains 20% solvent.
Fueling your brushcutter with a four-stroke engine
Four-stroke engines are used in professional brushcutter models. They have plenty of power and can run for a long time without interruption or refuelling. They also use gasoline and oil as fuel, but they are filled in different tanks. This means that oil does not participate in the combustion process, so the exhaust fumes are not as toxic.
Side note! In addition to better environmental performance and the ability to heat up less, four-stroke brushcutter engines are also more economical. They use much less fuel. savings up to 50 percent for gasoline and up to 80 percent for oil.
Checking the gearbox before starting a gasoline grass trimmer should be done on a regular basis. Lack of lubricant or a small amount of lubricant increases friction in the gear train, which operates at quite high speeds. This results in overheating of the gears as well. How to mix

You also need a medical syringe, preferably 20 to 50 milliliters. First pour petrol into the container, then add a precisely measured amount of oil (by volume). You cannot change the procedure.
If you have “pre mix” oil, you need to close the bottle or canister with the cap and turn it upside down a few times and shake it vigorously. If the oil is “self mix”, it will dissolve on its own. The mixture must be used within one day. If you know how much fuel a grass trimmer consumes for a certain amount of work (or time), it is not difficult to calculate the amount of mixture. Otherwise, dilute the new fuel before each refill so that you have a minimum amount left before the end of the job.

To summarize the above. Use for your brand equipment the oil designed or recommended by the manufacturer of that equipment. Observe the proportions of oil and gasoline for the fuel mixture specified by the manufacturers in the instruction manual. Plastic gasoline canisters are always marked with the “flame” sign.
