Review of the yamaha 560 super pro chainsaw

An interview with Alexey Badaev about the Xbox 360 console

A long time ago, in the last century, when I was even younger and prettier than now, figured in my home console Playstation. There were a lot of games invented for her, and many of them could still be played today. I have spent so much time on the Playstation console, that if I had spent it reading some useful books, I would have probably completed my studies at the Biofaculty, after which I would have become a Karelian researcher instead of an oligarch from Mytishchi.

I was friends with Playstation for about three years. But when August ’98 broke out, the family savings, which were partially torn from the problem bank, had to be urgently sold, and the first computer was placed at home. The console was too late to catch wind, didn’t have time to crash or burn, and a month later was exchanged for the Riva TNT graphics card, and Quake II quivered at a resolution of 800600.

PC-games of those years in my eyes were higher than the “consoles” by about five heads. First of all, they weren’t displayed on the Vityaz TV set that we bought the day Vladislav Listyev died (all the TV channels at the time gave a mourning portrait, and we bought the most geometrically straight frame of the ten available in the store). PC-games implied a monitor where you can clearly see every putszkel, and the output frequency of the picture has no right to be less than 85 hertz. For example, on the Playstation you could play many RTS games ported from the PC. I, of course, played from cover to cover, without any mice, deftly traversing units with a gamepad. But only on the monitor (hence on PC) was there a chance to see where the soldier from CC has a head, where are the legs and where is the rifle! It was only through the monitor that I realized that in WarCraft II, ogres had two heads! It seemed like happiness, for that I could forgive the lags and bugs, and to poke around in the settings and update the drivers for each new game seemed then even interesting youth is youth.

Second, the games for the computer had a powerful feature, known in our latitudes as “multiplayer”. Of course, Red Alert championships were also organized with the help of consoles, a connecting cord between two gray boxes, two TV sets in the room (one in black and white), furious swearing and laughter from the fans. But, alas, that required moving the expensive, by kid’s standards, equipment from house to house (and a gawking kid with a bag might be stopped, yeah), as well as a spare room, loyal parents, rearranging TVs, and other troubles. And it wasn’t about playing with more than two people. Meanwhile, in the computer industry the Quakers of both kinds were already in full swing, the Warcrafters were shouting at each other, and the era of CS was just around the corner. The most advanced and wealthy Karelians, having bought a modem, contrived to play all sorts of things right from their private chambers. To cut a long story short, the console wasn’t even an anachronism when it came to networking, it was a dead-end branch of the game industry.

A lot has changed since then. And that didn’t change in favor of the PC. Plasma and LCD panels, which give a great picture, are in almost every home. The monitors have improved too, but the image quality gap of ten years ago is gone. Given that the TV is almost always bigger than the monitor, it is more interesting to look at, and it is convenient not only to play, but also his relative or a guest does not need to loom behind and breathe on the back of his neck, you can sit next to it on a chair or couch, to give a couple of valuable tips, and even to take part in an interactive, so to speak, entertainment.

With multiplayer modes, too, everything is not as it used to be. Conzoli got new ass holes, and they approve of intercourse with Internet shoelaces. The scale of console network battles can not be described in the format of “I will write in seven minutes,” but to run and shoot at buddies, the computer is now not very much needed. The owner of the game combine does not need to worry about having more fps than all the rest put together, no need to listen to the loser blubbering “everything is lagging”, no need to roll twenty patches and tricky configurations everything is simple and clear: just drink and pour. over, with the console you can easily pull up a video clip or demo from the internet, buy a new game, write a couple of lines into a blog or even start an unbridled video chat with someone.

We talk to Alexey Badaev, head of Microsoft’s Department of Software and Hardware Entertainment Platforms Promotion in Russia, about a curious invention known locally as a “game console” and its role in today’s world.

VI: Good day, Alexey! You’re certainly a serious person and an executive, but for us ordinary Soviet opener-gamers it would be interesting, first of all, to know what you’re playing today, and whether that game is any good.

VI: Above I laid out a couple of thoughts on the topic of “console-computer confrontation”. Nevertheless, a number of popular genres, like MMORPGs and RTSs, are still predominantly “PC”. On the other hand, the appearance on consoles of a serious flight simulator “IL-2: Sturmovik” brings to mind that not so long ago it seemed unthinkable. It would be interesting to hear your Комментарии и мнения владельцев, and ideally a guess as to how the situation may develop further. Is it possible to say that there are categories of games which are not going to succeed on consoles in the foreseeable future and will stay on consoles?

VI: What is the history of the name Xbox and what is the meaning of the number 360? Am I guessing correctly that they are referring to 360 degrees?

VI: Many of our readers have experience with “consoles” of previous years, from Dandy and Mega Drive to Playstation 2 and Xbox. What do you think are the qualitative differences between the modern console and its fossil ancestors?? How, apart from graphical capabilities, can it please the user??

VI: How, in your opinion, can be summed up the three main advantages of the Xbox 360 console in the domestic market?

VI: What promotions are planned for the Xbox 360 console by Microsoft in Russia? What we will see at the IGROMIR exhibition in November?

VI: Many, if not most of our readers are interested in games for the Xbox 360 were translated into their native language. What can please the Russian-speaking gamer in the foreseeable future?

VI: What are the prospects for the Xbox Live service in Russia?

VI: Is it true that the Xbox 360 Elite is painted black for political correctness reasons?

VI: Which game are you most looking forward to at the moment?

VI: Do you have consoles from other manufacturers at home PS3 or Wii?

As an additional material to the conversation I think it would be appropriate to attach this picture which is a good indication of the popularity of the game system:

Best chainsaws. TOP 10

Gasoline saws are quite common tools, so you often have to answer the question of which model is best to choose for a particular job. In short, the main differences are in engine power and guide bar length. Determine your purchasing goals and choose accordingly.

To cut branches in the garden, you need a compact and lightweight tool. Assuming you’ll be climbing trees or hiking up heights, then the chainsaw‘s requirements are for holding comfort. The bar is likely to be short and the engine is low-powered. But for simple tasks it is enough.

If you’re a professional and you want a mechanized helper for intensive daily use (felling trees, logging), then you’re definitely in the heavy-duty category of the pro-grade chainsaw with top-notch features and expanded functionality.

There is no universal device for all occasions, but there are really the best ones, which are ideal in terms of build quality, functionality and cost. Safety is also an important criterion. The presence of an instant brake prevents injury to the worker. With all these requirements in mind, I’ve compiled a ranking of the most purchasable chainsaws for you.

We offer you the most popular models from top manufacturers.
